There are six volumes in the World Book Encyclopedia of People and Places: volume 1, A-C; volume 2, D-H; volume 3, I-L; volume 4, M-R; volume 5, S-T; and volume 6, U-Z and the cumulative index. Each book presents individual nations and other political or geographic units through an article or series of articles. All articles are covered within a two-page spread.Series of articles are arranged in the set in alphabetical order, beginning with the series on Afghanistan in Volume 1 and ending with Zimbabwe in Volume 6. The title of the series is the same as the title of its first article. 334 pages.
